COURSE OUTLINE:

WHMIS is a national system to identify workplace hazardous material and provide safety information pertaining to them. Workers have the right to know. Employers and suppliers must:

• Ensure proper labeling of hazardous materials
• Provide Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on hazardous materials
• Provide worker education and training
