SC1270- S Cam Air Brake Adjustment

COURSE OUTLINE:

Regulations under the Trades Qualification and Apprenticeship Act of Ontario requires all drivers who adjust manual slack adjusters to successfully complete a written and practical exam in order to obtain certification.

Trainee Candidates:

All drivers should attend the training to become certified. Inspection results show that the most common defect found on all commercial vehicles deemed 'out of service' are due to brakes adjustment. No one may adjust the brakes of a commercial vehicle without this certification. Most drivers have not been trained and do not know when their brakes are out of adjustment.

COST:

$120 plus GST

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

Drivers must hold a valid licence with Z endorsement.
