Delivery: 4.5 Hours
The course provides participants with a general understanding of the safe and efficient operation of an industrial powered fork truck, to help companies comply with OHSA regulations.
Forklift certification will teach participants / employees how to identify specific health and safety hazards in the workplace associ-ated with operating a powered industrial lift truck.
Our instructors will conduct the training at your location in order to customize the course to your facility‘s environment and safety issues.
All training is done in full compliance of government standards including theory and practical training.
Classroom Training ( 3-4 hours)
- Introduction: Why the need for proper training
- Basic Principles of a Forklift
- Importance of a Pre-Operational Check
- Safe Operating Procedures
Practical Training (approx. 0.5 hours/participant)
Hands-on practical training encompassing sections III and IV of the classroom.
