Tractor-Trailer (AZ) Program
Our students actually spend 50 plus hours behind the wheel, not including pre-trip and post-trip inspection and backing time.
DZ Driver Instruction Course
A minimum of forty (40) hours of instructor-led classroom theory. A minimum of twelve (12) hours behind the wheel. Six (6) hours of yard training as a group.
Pre-Trip Inspections
This comprehensive program defines “best practices” in the industry. It is designed to give candidates thorough, detailed knowledge of how to conduct a proper pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
Professional Driver Improvement Course (Defensive Driving)
The course content covers defensive driving techniques such as: passing, collision prevention, driving conditions, turns, backing, driver awareness and impairments, and vehicle inspections.
Load Security
The basic principles of load security. Preparing cargo for transportation. Vehicle requirements both van and flat decks. Cargo tie downs. Enforcement and compliance.
Hours of Service
Hours of service has long been a topic of confusion and contention. We bring clarity to this subject which is very often a source of financial and legal burden to the non-compliant driver or company.
Air Brake āZā Endorsement
Twelve hour Instructor-led classroom training. An on-site working Air Brake Board will teach Air Brake component names and assist with steps to prepare for Practical Air Exam
